CDLite™ is distributed as freeware.

CDLite™ requires FileMaker Pro 2.1 to run and 1.4 megabytes of disc space to unstuff. Other than that I don't think there are any other limitations. CDLite™ works fine on 12" monitors on up and even though it is in color it looks fine in gray-scale. I haven't tested CDLite Pro™ or TapeMaker™ on monitors smaller than 15" (the size of mine) so I don't know about them and smaller monitors - but I don't think they would be a problem.
Features:

• All of this with an easy to use interface that also looks good (I think).
I developed this database because I wanted to spruce up my old CD database. I downloaded
several CD cataloging databases and found that they were all either too complex (ie. stored much more information than I was interested in entering into the database and thus had too much stuff on the screen), hard to use (they were not very 'intuitive'), or they just didn't
look very nice. After developing the database several people suggested I upload it to various
mac archives.
Because of suggestions from my brothers and friends I have also developed a more complex
CDLite™ and call it CDLite Pro™. I added features and tried to keep is just as simple to use as his little brother.
The added features of CDLite Pro™:
• Cataloging of Track Names for up to 4 discs (as in a 4 cd box set) per title
• Easy searching of CDLite Pro™ by track, title, artist, ...
• TapeMaker™ - this is a companion database that I developed to help with making home
Mix tapes of your CD collection. You can enter individual tracks from CDLite Pro™ into
TapeMaker™ by pressing just a few buttons (one to select the song you want, and one
to tell CDLite Pro™ where to put it in TapeMaker). It transfers the Track Title,
Artist and Track Time. The Track Time is the important thing because you can select a
group of songs and then see if they will fit on the tape you are using.
• Inside TapeMaker™ you can also print out the Tape Labels you created. The Tape label
includes Titles for A and B sides on the spine, Track list with artist for each song.
Features added for version 1.1:
• Fixed problem where TapeMaker was looking for a file that shouldn't exist.
• Turned cassette Icon in CDLite Pro™ into a button to open TapeMaker™.
• Added buttons to CDLite Pro for placing the first 16 tracks of a CD into TapeMaker™.
• Modified the layouts slightly.
• Improved the Help screen in TapeMaker™.
CDLite™ and CDLite Pro™ with TapeMaker™ are Freeware. You may do with them what you like, I only ask that you obtain my permission before redistributing this software in whole or in part. I make no warrantees what so ever about the functionality of this database or anything in it. Use it at your own risk.
